Name: Dona Sol Sweet Red Table Wine
Variety: Shiraz, Petite Syrah, Symphony
Region: California
Country: US
Year: Nonvintage
Price: $7

Winery Review: Shiraz has a unique jammy fruit character that is well represented in the Sweet Red. Both on the nose and on the palate, jammy fruit, like strawberries, cherry pie and red licorice, entices the senses and pair well with cheeses and desserts.

My Review: A red wine with a slight brown hue. A mixture of sweetened fruit, butter, and alcohol on the nose. The initial taste was very interesting. Much sweeter than I anticipated. Taste resembled strawberries rolled in sugar. I actually really enjoyed this red wine; one of the most enjoyable reds I've tasted so far. I would drink this again!

I tasted this without food.
