Name: Yellow Tail Sweet Red Roo
Variety: Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: South Eastern Australia
Country: Australia
Year: Non Vintage
Price: $7

Winery Review: With aromas of naturally sweet red berries, vanilla, and chocolate, Sweet Red Roo is a bold, expressive and naturally sweet tasting red wine served at room temperature or chilled.

My Review: A medium purplish-red colored wine that smells of black cherry, blackberry, and dark fruit. I was expecting tannin to give a punch on the initial taste but was surprised by its juiciness. Berries and a hint of vanilla define the taste, and it has a soft finish. I did not love this wine but I found it more enjoyable than many other red wines I have tasted. I would be interested to taste it again with cheese to compliment.

I tasted this without food.
