Name: Beringer Smooth Red Blend
Variety: Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah, Petite Sirah
Region: Founders' Estate, California
Country: US
Year: 2012
Price: $15

Winery Review: A blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petite Sirah. Without a doubt, very smooth and uniquely balanced. Not too dry but not too sweet. Has a foundation of raspberry and blackberry that lingers in the finish. A slight hint at vanilla and some spice when it touches your tongue.

My Review: A medium red color. This wine had an aroma of prune and fig. Extremely smooth but a little bit spicy. It tasted of black currant and cherry and had a lingering finish. Another wine that was a bit too bold and powerful for my taste, but I appreciated its smoothness.

I tasted this without food.
