Variety: Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Valle Central
Country: Chile
Year: 2014
Price: $6/bottle

Winery Review: Black Box Wines Cabernet Sauvignon displays lovely aromas of black currants, with hints of mocha and toasty oak. Black cherry and chocolate flavors come together with smooth tannins, leading to a soft, lingering finish.

My Review: Color is deep red with a purple tint. Aromas of dark fruits, smoke, and spice makes a powerful nose. The taste matches the boldness of the smell. Full bodied with tannins and a long finish. Flavors of black currant and some spice. Not my favorite, mostly due the dry mouth that followed. I think this would taste significantly better if complimented with a nice steak.

I tasted this without food.
